SMT 455 Deep Bore

The winningest component clubhead of all time, your 455
Deep Bore comes with a long and storied past. Winning
back to back World Long Drive Championships, the first
South African Long Drive Challenge and a wire to wire win
on the European Tour, just to name a few of its hundreds of
victories.
This head is as enjoyable to play as it is striking to look at.
The lower center of gravity, born from a slightly deeper than
standard head design, gives your club the solid feel that
you desire, while still affording you the most forgiving head
in our lineup.

The lack of scorelines on the face will make your playing
partners sit up and take notice. This bold design is a
function of manufacture, rather than design. Our goal is to
make all of our heads play as close to the .830 USGA
allowance, and that called for a very thin face, so thin, that
if we were to score the face in a traditional manner, it would
weaken the structure of the head and compromise our high
quality standards.

This head is a favorite of the person looking for the most
forgiveness in their clubhead while still looking for a slightly
higher than standard trajectory.
