Conquest Custom Golf, your local professional golf club fitting studio in Cincinnati/Liberty Township, owned and operated by Bill Weitzel, an AGCP Certified “Level 10” Professional Golf Club Fitter, proudly announces that Golf Digest has recognized Conquest Custom Golf as one of the “Top 100” Golf Club Fitters in the country according to their article “Places to Get Fit in America” in their February 2011 issue. In the article, Mike Stachura, Senior Editor for Equipment for Golf Digest says, “For years our magazine has used its equipment pages to extol the virtues and benefits of going through a proper fitting before purchasing golf clubs. Our readers have naturally followed up that advice with a question ….. So where should I go to get fit for my clubs? For the first time in our 60-year history, Golf Digest is giving its readers its recommendations for the best places in America to go for a club fitting.” The selections were a result of an in depth research project performed by their equipment editors and the club fitter had to be nominated by one of the following as well: One of Golf Digest’s 900-plus raters of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses, golf association executives, top teachers, or other industry sources. Golf Digest then asked the fitters to complete a survey detailing their resources, expertise, and methodology. The list of more than 500 leading candidates was then evaluated by the judges before the final decisions on the 100 Best Club Fitters in the country were made.
